Each month, Erlanger presents a nurse with the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. Patients and families are encouraged to nominate nurses who exhibit compassionate care and clinical excellence. In my role as Marketing and Public Relations Specialist, I was responsible for all marketing and public relations aspects related to the DAISY Award.

As in-house photographer, I attended and captured each surprise DAISY Award presentation. Families of the winner, hospital leadership and floor staff are invited to participate. See photos.

In addition to collateral pieces encouraging nominations, I worked with our in-house graphic designer to create posters that were placed throughout the hospital, congratulating each winner. See poster design.

Each DAISY Award winner was announced to the media via press release, detailing the winner's nomination. See press release.
